WELL CAPTURED
LEGACY
BIOGRAPHY PHOTOGRAPHY STORYTELLING
Your Story • Your Way
You have spent a lifetime writing
your story.
Choose how it is told, what is preserved and how you want to be known
and remembered.
Your authorship
Tell your story in your own way, at any time.
Legacy is often treated as something created after a person dies.
I believe it can, and should, belong to the person who has lived the life.
You may want to create a biography, record your voice, leave messages for future milestones, select the photographs that feel like you or explain the parts of your story that others have never fully known.
You may want to be remembered for your humour rather than your illness. For your garden, your stubbornness, your cooking, the risks you took, the people you loved or the ordinary rituals that made you unmistakably yourself.
This is your history, not someone else’s reconstruction of it.
Biography
Tell it in your own words.
A Leaving Well biography gives you a supported way to record where you came from, what shaped you, what you survived, what you loved and what you now understand.
Your story may become a written biography, recorded conversation, collection of photographs, family book or combination of words, voice and imagery.
You decide what is included.
You also decide what remains private.
Photography
Preserve the life that is here now.
Legacy is not found only in grand stories.
It lives in familiar hands, the way someone laughs, the chair they always sit in, the recipes they know by heart and the ordinary moments a family will one day miss.
With a professional photography background and an end-of-life focus, I create unhurried documentary-style sessions centred on comfort and connection rather than posing.
Sessions may include:
· Individual, couple and family photographs
· Home-life and familiar routines
· Treasured belongings and meaningful details
· Recorded voice or video messages
· Letters for children, grandchildren or future milestones
· Family stories, recipes and traditions
· Fine-art prints, albums and designed keepsakes
· Memorial imagery and slideshow preparation
Family Legacy Day
Be present within the memories you are creating.
A Family Legacy Day is designed around one family: time together, photographs, stories, favourite food, music, meaningful places and whatever helps capture the person as they truly are.
The result is not simply a photo session.
It is an experience of connection in the present and a collection of memories for the future.
