BEGIN WITH A CONVERSATION

I’m here to support you

You do not need to know exactly what kind of support you need before you call.

You may be planning ahead, navigating a diagnosis, caring for someone you love, approaching the final days, arranging a funeral or finding your way after a loss.

We can begin wherever you are.

Together, we can gently explore what’s needed, what matters most and how you’d like things to move forward.

You’re welcome to contact Kerstin directly, or simply fill in the form below.

FAQ

Do I need to be at the end of life?

No. Leaving Well may begin with living more intentionally, planning ahead, organising belongings, creating a legacy, navigating changing health or simply wanting a trusted person to help bring everything together.

Do you provide medical advice?

I can help you prepare questions, attend appointments, understand the information discussed, communicate your wishes and coordinate agreed next steps. Diagnosis, prescribing and clinical care remain with your treating professionals.

Can you help someone remain at home?

I can help explore what would be needed, support planning and family preparation, coordinate with clinical and community services and provide personal end-of-life support. Whether a home death is possible depends on the person’s wishes, clinical needs, available services and family circumstances.

Can you provide extended or around-the-clock support?

Where longer periods or additional hands are needed, I may work collaboratively with trusted end-of-life professionals, including Patsy Bingham and End of Life Angels. We will establish a clear, coordinated plan so everyone understands their role.

Can our family participate in care after death?

In many expected-death circumstances, families may have choices about time with the person and involvement in gentle after-death care. I can explain the options available in your situation and coordinate with the relevant clinical and funeral professionals. There is never pressure to participate.

Can you lead a funeral or living wake?

Yes. As a qualified Funeral Celebrant, I can create and lead living celebrations, funerals, memorials, ash-scattering ceremonies, bedside rituals and other meaningful gatherings.

Is Leaving Well religious?

No. My approach is holistic and spiritually open, but no belief is imposed. I welcome religious, spiritual, cultural, uncertain and secular perspectives and shape support around what brings meaning to you.

How are fees worked out?

Fees depend on the type, duration and level of support required. After an initial conversation, I will explain the proposed scope and costs clearly before work begins.

Can support be funded?

Leaving Well can be engaged privately. In some situations, support may also be available through an existing care arrangement, approved funding or in partnership with another provider. Eligibility and approval vary, but I can help you explore what may be possible.

Do you support families after death?

Yes. Support may continue through after-death care, funeral planning, practical follow-up, family check-ins, belongings and paperwork, memorial ideas, legacy work and bereavement companionship.
