About
A calm, trusted presence — when it matters most
I’m Kerstin King, an End-of-Life Doula based in the Southern Highlands, NSW.
I offer non-medical, deeply personal support to individuals and families.
My work is to walk alongside people and their families during one of life’s most significant and often overwhelming times.
This isn’t something I approach as a service to be delivered, but as a relationship to be held —
with care, attentiveness, and deep respect for what matters to you.
Every situation is different. Every family is different.
And so the way I support you is always shaped around you.
This work is not something I approach lightly — it is something I feel deeply called to, and honoured to offer.

Kerstin King is a trained End-of-Life Doula, providing non-medical, in-home support, coordination, and advocacy for individuals and families.
Her approach is grounded, calm, and deeply relational — shaped not only by formal training, but by lived experience supporting others through complex and emotionally significant times.
With a background in working closely with people, families, and high-trust environments, Kerstin brings a strong capacity for communication, organisation, and steady presence — ensuring individuals feel supported, informed, and not alone.
She is currently undertaking further training in funeral services, strengthening her ability to support families before, during, and after death.
Approach & Experience
How I work with you
I offer a personal, in-home presence that brings clarity, calm, and continuity.
Sometimes that means helping you make sense of what’s ahead.
Sometimes it’s coordinating care so everything works together seamlessly.
And sometimes, it’s simply being there — quietly and consistently — so you’re not navigating it alone.
My role sits alongside medical care, ensuring that the human side of the experience is not lost.
I provide in-home end-of-life support, care coordination, and advocacy for individuals and families.
The process for working together is simple and supportive, designed to bring clarity and ease.
What this looks like in practice
1. A first conversation
We begin with a phone call or in-home visit, where we gently talk through your situation, what’s ahead, and where you may need support.
2. Understanding what matters most
Together, we explore your wishes, concerns, and priorities — ensuring your voice remains central in every decision.
3. Creating a support approach
Support is tailored to you. This may include in-home presence, coordination of care, advocacy, and guidance for both you and your family.
4. Ongoing presence & coordination
I remain alongside you — quietly and consistently — helping everything work together, and ensuring you’re not navigating this alone.
5. Support after death
Care continues beyond the moment of death, with guidance, practical support, and a steady presence for those left behind.
You’re welcome to reach out at any stage — whether you’re planning ahead, navigating end-of-life care, or needing support after a loss.
The process for coordinating care with Leaving Well is simple,
personal, and designed to bring clarity and ease.
Supporting families across the Southern Highlands, Wollondilly, and surrounding areas.
A more personal way of
supporting you
This is not a service where you’re passed between people.
I work in a way that is intentionally boutique and personal — offering a consistent, trusted presence from early support through to end-of-life, and into bereavement for those close to you.
It means you are supported by someone who understands your situation, your preferences, and what matters most — without needing to repeat yourself or start again.
A quiet reassurance
At a time when things can feel uncertain or overwhelming, my role is to bring steadiness.
To help you feel supported.
To help you feel at ease.
And to ensure that you and your family are cared for with dignity and attention — every step of the way.
